Tranches de vie,  chansons de résistance portées par un chant féminin, après cinq années d’existence , le groupe  parisien Cartouche a sorti sa nouvelle production.

Si le  précédent album, enregistré à Londres,  sonnait  punk eighties (Blondie, Clash, etc), cette fois-ci, Lucas Chauvières du studio Soyouz (Paris), a donné au groupe la puissance du punk US (Dead Kennedy’s, Bad Religion). Et, ce n’est pas un hasard si le disque comporte deux morceaux en anglais. Il faut dire que Cartouche n’a cessé de tourner en Europe : France, Allemagne, Pologne, Autriche, Serbie, Hongrie, Belgique, dans des clubs, squats, jugendzentrums. Qu’ils comprennent ou non les paroles, le public a toujours été scotchée devant la présence et la rage positive du groupe sur scène . L’émotion, notamment quand elle entonne en yiddish le Chant des partisans du ghetto de Vilniu, Zog nit keynmol et la furie qui se dégagent de la  chanteuse n’y sont pas pour rien.

Slices of life, songs  of resistance, after 5 years of existence, the band Cartouche turned out his new production.

If the last record, recorded in London, was sounding punk 80’s (Blondie, Clash, etc), this time, Lucas Chauvières from the studio Soyouz (Paris), gave to the band the strength of the US punk. And it’s not a hazard if the on the record, one can find two songs in English. We have to say that the band didn’t stop to tour in Europe: France, Germany, Poland, Austria, Serbia, Hungary, Belgium, Switzerland, in clubs, squats and youth centres. Understanding or not the lyrics, the public is always receptive to the presence and the positive rage of the band on stage. Emotion, notably when she starts singing in Yiddish, The songs of partisans from the ghetto of Vilnius, Zog nit keynmol, and fury which emanate from the singer, are on rendez-vous!
